Skate Paradise

From kick flips to ollies, Paradise Centre will transform into a skateboarding mecca from Thursday 29 June to Sunday 2 July 2023. Welcome to Skate Paradise!
Over four action-packed days, Paradise Centre will play host to a 7m x 5m skate ramp, skate shows, breakdancing performances, the coolest kids’ workshops on the coast, giveaways, and more…so fetch your kneepads and fasten your helmet.
KIDS' SKATE WORKSHOPS
Whether your kid has never balanced on a board before or is the next Tony Hawk, they’ll love our free skateboarding clinics hosted by the local crew from Rock 'N' Slide Skateboarding, held at 11am, 12pm and 1pm daily, from 29 June to 2 July. Find the skate workshops in the beachfront dining precinct on The Esplanade (look for the mega skate ramp!).
- Suitable for kids aged 4-12 years
- All equipment supplied
- 10 spots per session
- A parents/guardian must sign a waiver for their child prior to participating
- Bookings are mandatory - bookings open 1 June
Every participant in the skateboarding workshop will receive a free drawstring skate bag, plus an entry into the draw to win 1 of 4 skateboards from Fast Times Skateboarding. Make sure you stick around 'cos one winner will be drawn every day at 2pm.*
*T&Cs apply. Winner will be drawn at random daily from that day's participating workshop attendees. Winner must be present to claim their prize. Parent/guardian must be present to claim prize on child's behalf.
PARADISE PARLOUR
From 12pm-4pm, head up to level one near Zone Bowling and check out the Paradise Parlour.

- Take five and enjoy a freshly spun fairy floss^

RAMP IT UP, BEACHSIDE
The beachfront dining precinct will be a hive of activity all arvo with free breakdancing shows, roving entertainment, DJs, and skate performances on the mega ramp from 2pm-6pm.

While you’re in centre, don’t forget to shred up your wardrobe with fresh skate looks from Vans, Surf Dive N’ Ski, Platypus Shoes, Stateside Sports, Skechers, Rip Curl and Fast Times Skateboarding, all open at Paradise Centre.
